The Last Expense Package is our core program designed to support families during the loss of a loved one. It ensures that members and their families receive essential assistance to ease the burden of funeral expenses.
Food Basket Support: 1 Bag of Maize (90kg), 1 Bag of Rice (50kg), 20 Litres of Cooking Oil, 1 Bale of Baking Flour, 25kg of Sugar
Burial Support: Morgue fees upto 14 days, Executive coffin, Dressing of the body, Transportation of the body from morgue to home, 2 large tents, 200 plastic seats, 1 gazebo tent,Red Carpet, Trolley and Lowering gear.
2. Cash Reward Package: This is an additional package that provides members with extra cash benefits to cater for other needs that arise during funeral arrangements. The cash reward is issued before the burial date, giving families quick access to funds exactly when they need them most.
3. Savings Package: The Savings Package is designed for members who want to build financial security through disciplined saving.
Members can: Save any amount they wish, Withdraw their savings anytime, Use their savings as a basis to access other financial support.
Savings also enable members to access: Education Support Fund and Low Interest Loans.
4. Education Support Fund: The Education Support Fund is a Zero Interest Loan facility available to members based on their savings. This fund is designed to help members support the education of their children or dependents without the burden of interest.
5. Low Interest Loans: Mustard Seed Kenya provides affordable loans to help members grow financially and respond to urgent needs. Our Interest is from as low as 2% per month with flexible repayment period.
